Provider terms

Providers on HomeStay are independent businesses. These are the rules of the relationship.

Standards

  • Keep licence and insurance current; work stops if either lapses.
  • Respond to job offers before the response deadline shown on the job.
  • Arrive inside the agreed window, or tell HomeStay as soon as you know you cannot.
  • Never collect payment directly from a HomeStay customer for HomeStay-arranged work.
  • Never quote extra work on site without a HomeStay change order the customer approves.

Fees and payout

HomeStay charges a marketplace fee on each completed job, agreed with you in writing before you take work. Providers are never charged for a lead, and declining a job costs nothing. Your settlement statement shows the customer amount, the HomeStay fee, processing cost and your net payout.

Independent contractor

Nothing here creates an employment relationship. You control how the work is performed and supply your own tools, vehicle, employees and insurance.
